81st Air Depot Group, Headquarters & Headquarters
Squadron Orderly Room at Eagle Farm Airfield

The Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron of the 81st Air Depot Group were located in the Ward Motors building on the corner of Church Street and Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley in Brisbane during WW2.

I believe that a guard detachment was also based in the Ward Motors building. Their barracks were also believed to be in the building. There were two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen and bathroom in the first floor of this building.

The Ward Motors premises were later used by the Royal Australian Navy for their RAN Naval Stores Depots, possibly in late 1945.
