Al Coburn told Mike Merryman that he was mentioned in a magazine called "Flying" back in about 1971. There is an article about Charles Lindbergh being in the 475th Fighter Group and attached to Al Coburn's 433rd Fighter Squadron. The article mentions Al Colburn by name as being Charles Lindbergh's Wingman on a mission.

Can anyone help me with more information?
