AUSTRALIANS AT PORT McARTHUR
COLLABORATING WITH THE JAPANESE
DURING WW2
In August 1940, Special Branch reported that two Australians at Port McArthur in the western side of the Gulf of Carpentaria had allegedly provided the Japanese with plans of the harbour.
