CENTRAL BUREAU REUNION
AT 21 HENRY STREET, ASCOT

A reunion of Central Bureau members was held at
the former Central Bureau Headquarters at 21
Henry Street, Ascot in Brisbane on 1 May 1988. It was organised by the
Central Bureau Intelligence Corps Association (CBICA)

"Clarrie" Millar -
Percival Clarence "Clarrie" Millar (88725) of 3 Wireless Unit
RAAF, became a public servant after the
war, and then a farmer. In 1974, he was elected to the Australian House
of Representatives as the Country Party member for Wide Bay in
Queensland retiring in 1990. Clarrie and the ALP's Tom Uren, were the
last two WWII veterans to serve in the House of Representatives. Clarrie
also spent time at Coomalie towards the end of the war. |
