CRASH OF AN O-47A
AT ARCHERFIELD, QLD
ON
8 MARCH 1942

On 8 March 1942 at 0500Z hours, USAAF O-47A, #37-282 nosed over when the pilot H.V. Maull, applied the brakes while landing at Archerfield airfield. The airscrew was slightly damaged.

A report by 1st Lt. G. Brown indicated that the aircraft was presently located at Geelong in Victoria.
