CRASH OF A B-26 MARAUDER
AT MACKAY AIRFIELD, QLD
ON 21 SEPTEMBER 1944

On 21 September 1944, the Operations Record Book for 3 Fighter Sector Headquarters (3 FSHQ) had an entry as follows regarding the crash of B-26 Marauder #932:-

        "V.A.O.C. Mackay advised B.25-932 had crashed on drome - crew safe but aircraft damaged."
