Hi Peter,
Congratulation on your website! A great source of quality info for WWII aviation researchers & enthusiasts.
Have just been reading your pages on various flights beneath Sydney Harbour Bridge. It seems this wasn't the only bridge assaulted during WWII. My late father, Roy Goon recounted on numerous occasions taking (I think) a flight of Boomerangs under Brisbane's Storey Bridge. From recollection the Squadron (83 or 85) was departing for W.A. and the flight was a fairwell promised by a couple of the lads to their girlfriends who, the night before had been told to watch for the flypast.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who recalls the event.
Keep up the good work
best regards
Chris Goon
