A collection of anecdotes and recollections of people who flew or who were closely related to those who flew and/or maintained Catalina flying boats during the 1939-45 conflict in the Asia-Pacific theatre of war.

Catalina squadrons throughout the total war period carried out effective offensive and defensive operations of an almost unbelievable nature, playing a major role in bringing the war to its conclusion in August 1945. These incidents and events cannot be allowed to fade into oblivion.
