HUDSON INVOLVED
IN A LANDING ACCIDENT
AT MILLINGIMBI, NT
ON 7 MAY 1943
On 7 May 1943, Mark III Hudson, A16-211 (BW751), of 2 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Mr. Hornby, was involved in a heavy landing at Millingimbi airfield in the Northern Territory. The landing gear collapsed in this accident.
A16-211 was delivered to the RAAF in April 1942. It was converted to components in July 1943.
