LOSS OF A HUDSON
BETWEEN MILLINGIMBI, NT
AND KANNIVA VILLAGE
ON 15 AUGUST 1943

Mark III Lockheed Hudson A16-181 (BW674) of 2 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Mr. Lamb, took off from Millingimbi in the Northern Territory on 15 August 1943 on a mission to Kanniva Village. It disappeared. There was no communications with the aircraft after takeoff.
A16-181 had been involved in an earlier take-off accident at Millingimbi on 18 March 1943. It was Written Off in August 1943.
