DURING WW2
"Redleaf" at 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay, Sydney was used as accommodation for WAAAFs working at the Headquarters for No. 2 Training Group RAAF located at Point Piper, in Sydney, New South Wales during WW2. This was possibly at "Kilmory" at Point Piper.
"Redleaf" was built in 1863 for William Walker. After a number of different owners it was purchased by the Woollahra Council in 1940. It was occupied by the RAAF from 1942 to 1946. It became the Woollahra Municipal Council Chambers in 1947.
