BRISBANE "BOMBED"
BY THE ORANGE BOMBER
BRISBANE, QLD
IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII
All his life James Teel, a retired Police Sergeant/Bomb Technician from Oklahoma, USA was told the story of his uncle Ottis A. Teel being involved in an accident where a USAAF bomber accidentally dropped a load of oranges on the city of Brisbane in south east Queensland.
Does anyone know any more details of this incident?
Date, Aircraft type and Serial No?
