Bernly Private Hotel at 15 Springfield Avenue, Kings Cross, Sydney was taken over by the military and became Bernly American Red Cross Officer's Club. It would appear that today it is in the suburb of Potts Point.
An advertisement in "The Land" newspaper on 18 November 1938, described Bernly at Springfield Avenue, Kings Cross as Sydney's latest Private Hotel with 100 bedrooms, with hot and cold water and telephone in every room. The owner was as F. J. Berne.
