I, unfortunately, can't contribute to the story, but instead, I have a question I thought you might be able to answer.

I descend from Julien Capel b. 1595 at Cesny aux Vignes, Caen, Bayeux, France & Laurance Lecomte b. circa 1601 also same place and were wed circa 1620 in France.

Does the couple I mentioned fall into any of your research? Hope to hear from you on this.
