SCHOOL OF ARTILLERY,
NORTH HEAD BARRACKS,
SYDNEY, NSW DURING WW2
The War Establishment for the Australian Army's School of Artillery was promulgated on 5 April 1945. The plan was to combine the following four schools:-
- AA Arty
- Coast Arty
- AASL
- Field Arty
Lt. Col. Robinson was appointed to administer the command of the above Schools pending the reorganisation into the new School of Artillery. The Headquarters for the School of Artillery was established at North Head Barracks, Sydney, New South Wales on 25 June 1945.
The 2nd Heavy Artillery Training Regiment was running the School of Artillery at North Head in 1942.
