Air-Sea Rescue Boats (63 Foot)

 

HMAS Air Nymph (Y257) was built by Fellows & Stewart Inc, USA and launched in 1944.

It was originally commissioned as HMAS Air Save (920) on 20 September 1944. It was transferred to the RAAF in 1949 and subsequently returned to the RAN and re-commissioned as HMAS Air Nymph on 29 November 1962. It was sold on 20 June 1968.
