10 Fighter Sector Headquarters RAAF was formed in Darwin on 10 May 1943. 

The unit moved to Sattler on 2 Apr 1944. They embarked Darwin on 16 Jan 1945 and disembarked at Morotai on 31 Jan 1945.

The Unit was disbanded at Morotai on 27 Aug 1945.
