CRASH OF A DH-84 DRAGON
30 MILES FROM KATHERINE, NT
IN APRIL 1943

In April 1943, a DH-84 Dragon, A34-45 Construction No 2034, of 34 Squadron RAAF, then based at Parafield airfield in South Australia, made forced landing 30 miles from Katherine in the Northern Territory. The Dragon caught fire and was totally destroyed.
