CRASH OF A VULTEE VENGEANCE
5 MILES SOUTH WEST OF WILLIAMTOWN, NSW
ON 16 AUGUST 1943

On 16 August 1943, RAAF Vultee Vengeance A27-63, of 4 OTU ORB, crashed 5 miles south west of Williamtown airfield. Sgt Ronald Leslie Perske (425895), pilot, and Sgt A S Collins navigator, were both killed.
