Malvern, Victoria, working in the Aeradio Station VZTV in 1944

Aeradio (ground-to-air radio) Station VZTV was located at Garbutt airfield, Townsville, Queensland during WW2.

The Aeradio Station  was operated by Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) aeradio operators. WAAAF telegraphists also worked as Assistants in the Aeradio station for five-hour watches.
