2/10th Australian General Transport Company 65 Australian Camp Hospital  808th Engineer Aviation Battalion
Detachment of No. 13 Australian Detention Barracks

By December 1943, there were 10 military units stationed in the Pine Creek area. Civilians were evacuated from the area. The Army commandeered many of the major buildings in Pine Creek. There were approximately 400 - 500 military personnel based in the Pine Creek area during WW2.

Can anyone help me with more details
on units based in the area during WW2?
